The Maitũ Totospace is founded on the philosophy that every child carries the future within them. An empowered girl grows into a woman who leads with dignity. An empowered boy grows into a man who respects and supports that dignity. For true cultural transformation, both must be nurtured together in safe, colourful, dignified and empowering spaces.

Child Wellness & Safeguarding

We integrate child protection awareness into the spaces of nurturing, learning and at home.

We train teachers, caregivers, and parents in recognising signs of neglect, abuse, or harmful practices and how to respond appropriately.

At home, parents are supported to raise children with dignity, empathy, and equality, breaking cycles of violence and harmful stereotypes.

Beautifying Learning Spaces

We transform underserved kindergartens, daycare centres, and ECD classrooms into safe, vibrant, and stimulating environments.

Maitũ uses colours, murals, and child-friendly furniture to create spaces that spark imagination and joy.

Early Empowerment & Learning

We use age-appropriate activities that teach respect, empathy, and confidence to both girls and boys.

Engaging storytelling, songs, and games challenge harmful stereotypes and promote healthy self-expression

Child Nutritional and Wellness

We work with school 4K Clubs and competent partners to introduce holistic gardens in schools:The Full Plate Concept

Maitũ provides linkages to partners offering school feeding projects and products, alongside seasonal supplies some of our farm outputs to 3 kindergartens.
